Ten Thousand I Saw At A Glance! XD

I am happy ^_^

The blog has been hugely successful, apparently. It’s got 10k hits in just 3 months and 11 days! :)

Don’t trust me? See for yourself! Here. See the graphical representation here. And remember graphs and statistics don’t lie :P

Hope you readers/contributors have had as much fun as I have while doing this whole thing.

+ The acceptance for the new theme has been great, now even I like it more than the previous theme!

Also, I mean wow, 10k hits is great. Next step? 1,00,000 obviously! XD

However change is inevitable so I don’t know where the blog is gonna go. But I do hope the readers don’t go :P

Thanks,

The Dhokla

India Day: Part II

“The title track of Kaminey should be our national anthem!”

Post talks about: News which moves (News on TV, heard of it?)

For some reason, even though blogging is a form of media and I have read a few comments saying that this blog is like their evening news and stuff but the fact of the matter is that even though this blog maybe in someway a small part of the whole media ecosystem, it doesn’t lie and tries to bring you the facts with a bit of zing and in the face attitude, which let’s face it the mainstream media cannot do. Now wth is mainstream media? I don’t know, fucking CNN and shit. The mainstream media likes blowing things out of proportion, because it’s their business to make/create news. The more weird the news is the more people are gonna watch that particular broadcast more and thus the channel and thus the TV ratings for that particular channel goes up. Simple business.

Now let’s take a present example. If you watched news like 5 days back. You’d see the detained Shah Rukh Khan speaking about it in a press release. It here = him being detained at an American airport and then the things which happened with him. Now at the same time there was an issue of draught in the whole fucking country, like 50% of the country is in defict of rainfall already. But that wasn’t the headlines. :|

So 50% of the India is less important than a single guy who has done 70 films?

And even if you make it the headlines about SRK and shit, for the love of Google just stop with making animated sketches of him and the people who detained him and showing that as a slide on your stupid Hindi news channel? What the fuck is wrong with us/you?

The media says they show what the people want to see. Question of the day: Do people really want to see how one man was detained or do they want to see how they are going to suffer because of less rainfall?

I doubt the people living in this country are that dumb, I mean we are dumb but we aren’t that dumb right? :P

I mean we are selfish right? How is that guy getting detained gonna affect us? After 9/11 we all know what America does, why it does it and that it is not gonna stop.

Also, you probably have heard of this but with great power comes great responsibility. We all know the media can take the government down if they really want to, but they won’t. Setting hai boss =P

But here it is, straight out:  I understand 26/11 was their first time with hands on action and live terrorism but dude, come on think about it if you show every movement of what the NSG and the police and the other forces on national television you are just being stupid.

I mean sure censorship sucks but you are putting people’s life at risk there. :|

Also the people who read the fucking news (not the people the newsreaders :@), EXCUSE ME DUDE COME ON SHOW A LITTLE EXPRESSION ON YOUR FUCKED UP FACE. I MEAN YOU LOOK PATHETIC YOU LITTLE SLUT WITH YOUR FUCKING MAKEUP AND YOUR BIG GLASSES AND YOUR OILY HAIR BUT COME ON TRY OKAY? TRRRRY!

Bullshit.

No disrespect to Mr.Khan, btw.

Bihari Photographer

So, I know this dude from Bihari who has now moved to America, he is currently studying some photography and some shit in some stupid Cali university.  Some Brooks Institute of Photography according to his Facebook profile. Now I don’t know this dude so well and shitz, but his website is worth a mention. It’s the most cleanest design I have seen in a while and it works too even on a very bad internet connection. So all those living in Bihar can surf on it too.

And btw this dude takes some kickass photographs and that is the only reason why I tend to visit his website. I mean there is nothing else except for photographs :|

So take a look for yourself: http://krishnasriram.com/. For some reason there is a password which you have to enter before looking at the website. The password is: brooks

Knock yourselves out.

His name is Krishna Sriram, he is from Bihar. He likes to dance to Bhojpuri music. And likes to make children and sell them.

The Demonic Dhokla is not affiliated with that website or the person who owns that website.

Jaswant and his love for Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Today, there is this thing to talk about, as you readers might have heard J#aswant Sin#gh got his ass handed to him yesterday thanks to his stupidity of writing a book on Muh#ammad A#li Jinn#ah which kinda actually made him sound like a hero instead of a er, well a whatever.

We all know the views of most Indian’s on Muha#mmad A#li Jin#nah. And we all know the reason for that, the dude actually was ‘responsible for the partition of Hindustan’ We have been taught that just like Pa#kistani’s and the Brit#ish people have been taught that G#a#n#d#h#i was a bad person (No arguments there however) But still, being in a party which is a very Hin#du party and being an Indian and praising somebody who divided your fucking country into 2 parts which made my forefathers leave everything they had and come stay here and not just that it also caused one of the most controversial issues ever: K##ashmir. Muha#mmad Al#i Jin#nah is dead, I don’t wanna blame him. But according to me and most Indians he wasn’t a God, nor was he some brilliant guy. He was just another guy who was kinda like Hit#ler. Okay maybe not, but wth.

If you have read this blog before you’d know that I am not very fond of Pa#kis#tan. I guess, I am fine with the citizens of that country but the government really needs to get sane. The politicians there, except for Im#ran Kha#n I guess, need to get a life and some balls. Suggestion, please don’t take offense.

Don’t write books, you are a politician, stay a politician. And specially even if you are a writer and are associated with something which is against xyz don’t write/speak about XYZ. I mean speak about XYZ but not good things you fucking retard!

Was it blown out of proportion? Yes, by the media. I mean he probably he knew he was gonna get fired, no big deal. That party lost anyway. Who gives a fuck? :)

Thanks for reading, this uninformative post. [?]

The #’s are inserted for some reason best not known to you.

Autowalla: Conversation

Today, I took an auto rickshaw. If you don’t know WTF that is, go die or read this and I was kinda pissed off, so I threw my bag in first and then sat down. That dude looked at me and then the following conversation happened

Him: Drugs pe ho aap? (Are you on drugs?)

Me: Nahi :/ (Er, no)

Him: Toh kya aap koi baat par gusse pe mein ho? (So are you angry on something?)

Me: Nahi :/ (Er, no)

Him: Toh kisi insaan se aapka jagda ho gaya? (Did you fight with some person?)

Me: Tumhare baap ka kya jaata hai bhenchod? (Why the fuck do you care?)

Him: Bass, hum toh aise hi…. (Just like that…)

Me: Dimaag ka bhosda mat kar? (Don’t fuck with my head, okay?)

Him (after reaching my destination): Toh aapko aapki girlfriend ne chodd diya? (So, did your girlfriend dump you?)

Me: Teri maa ka bhosda (Your mom’s pussy [?])

Him: :/

Me: :/ x 2

India Day: Part I

So, I have been working on this since a while but I couldn’t really get my head my around it to writing it down. I was actually thinking about this shit in my head, and trying to keep them there. This bitch from South Bombay posted a note today about how India is not really independent and the faults and the etc etc, with better grammber and better vocabulary. But still very Dhokla isstyle. So, to eliminate completion I wanted to post this today itself! 2 post day today :P YAY :P

India is old now, it’s a mature country filled with immature people. People who think ‘gaygiri’ is a mental illness and people who think that by building statues they get popular and thus they will go to heaven. Immature people maybe an understatement here, these people are like kids who want to lick their lollipop but can’t cause their mommy didn’t give them enough money. So what do they do? They steal your lollipop and make you cry. Immature and bullies, what a horrible mixture -_____-

These guys are retarded, trust me. And when you find a sensible person here, you find 1000 people who can’t even figure out the difference between good politicians and bad politicians.  Oh wait, there are no good ones! AHA! Thus we vote for any random person, depending upon how Indian his/her name is. We have a woman speaker in the Lo#k Sa#bha btw now, but she sucks. FYI.

Actors get detained in another country it becomes headlines, H1N1 kills 25 people it becomes headlines for a week, schools get shut. But droughts? Er, no we have seen worse that ugly motherfucker says. I blame who? The politicians, the government and the people who didn’t vote even though they could.

Reservations, 26/11′s, 7/11′s,26/7′s and we are still here, doing nothing about it. Ask me what I have done for India, and I have a reply. Nothing. I haven’t done anything, I have pointed out flaws and mistakes and blamed people. But isn’t that what we do anyway? I am not alone. If we really got up and did something 26/11 wouldn’t have happened. We need kick in the butt to make us do something. We are lazy fucks. It’s a fact.

We are selfish lazy fucks who need to get out of their bed and for a second stop making out with the fat chick and decide what we really want. Do we want to live in a hostile environment? My mom won’t let me go to lectures because of swine flu. My dad calls me when I am not home by 7? Why? He doesn’t really give a shit he just wants to know if I am okay or not. It’s the same for everybody and as the time goes by it’s only going to get worse.

So what do I do? So what do we do? What can do we do? Nothing, really. At my age, go complete your education and run the fuck out of this country ASAP or just go work at a call center and hope that one day Google will make you the CEO of that call center company. Highly unlikely mind you :/

Don’t ask me what I have done for the country buddy, ask the ministers what they have done. Sure they can give a long speech about their achievements. But here is the dirty little secret bud, nobody gives a flippin’ crap about whatever the flip you have to say about yourself.  If somebody asks you what you have done for this country, reply them with the fact: NOTHING. And remember it’s not just you, it’s that person too. Sure the prime minister’s family said in an interview to CNN that he did a lot for the country and hence he has health problems. Seriously? Nobody asked him to stand up for elections. We would have made some other minority guy the PM. Because heck, let’s face it, we love showing of our ‘unity in diversity’ crap day in and day out. Unity? Un-fucking-ity? Remember ninety-fucking-three? :/

I don’t really know if I do infact give a shit anymore. I mean, I have become too self involved, as you see from the previous posts which have taken the world by storm. The larger picture hasn’t been clear to me for quite a number of days and I don’t know what lies ahead.

Note: This is Part I. Part II is in the works :P

P.S – Apparently people don’t want moderation in the comments, and they want to both comment and rate stuff. Thanks Rakhi Sawant, Snoopy, Steve, Shrai and Tobby for that. So comments are no held for moderation And you can go back to making a mess of this brilliantly designed blog.

Also, plans of changing the theme are in ‘the brain’. That might take long though, since I’ll probably have to readjust every widget there on your right or something. So, yeah. Also sorry for no Sunday announcement. I was busy with somethings. :P

Thanks Jeffica Fhah for the note, I didn’t ask her permission to copy it and paste it and make it into a PDF and link you to it but I think it’s good shit which you should read.
