Some dude even emailed me saying that Opera won’t show him the options to vote. So now that it’s gone joy to the world! Go back to commenting you filthy ass losers :P

Ah, commenting. Reminds me of this new thing I am gonna do after I post this: Moderation. Your comment will be stopped even if you have commented before. And then will be accepted whenever the fuck I have time, okay? Why? Well because, see comments tend to just go on and on and on and on, and really I have to sit and see people comment ‘live’ and reply to them. If your comment is held and when I accept it, it’ll be easier to comment then as I would only accept your comment when I have the fucking time :D  (Summary: You comment today but they will be accepted mostly on the next day)

Next thing, the new theme is here to stay. This is an official announcement. Most people who I have asked about it, like it more than the previous one, so yeah. Theme stays, and so does the stats counter up there on your right > (atleast till next week) The RSS feed options on this theme are fucking awesome, so if you are one of those people who likes Real Simple Syndication this thing is for you. It works with most popular RSS readers out there including Google Reader and shit. Me? I have Google Chrome = No RSS support =P

The new blog out there doesn’t mean TDD is shutting down, they are very different from each other. Not the theme though, I mean the look like fucking twins. But the content on both of them is really very different. Go read that one if you still haven’t, it’s like my Twitter but with no comments. But the only good thing about it is that I can post like 5 posts a day XD (Which I did yesterday) so yeah if you are in some way interested in ‘my life’/you have no life and read random blogs. Go hit here.

The blog has been hugely successful, apparently. It’s got 10k hits in just 3 months and 11 days! :)

Post talks about: News which moves (News on TV, heard of it?)

For some reason, even though blogging is a form of media and I have read a few comments saying that this blog is like their evening news and stuff but the fact of the matter is that even though this blog maybe in someway a small part of the whole media ecosystem, it doesn’t lie and tries to bring you the facts with a bit of zing and in the face attitude, which let’s face it the mainstream media cannot do. Now wth is mainstream media? I don’t know, fucking CNN and shit. The mainstream media likes blowing things out of proportion, because it’s their business to make/create news. The more weird the news is the more people are gonna watch that particular broadcast more and thus the channel and thus the TV ratings for that particular channel goes up. Simple business.

Now let’s take a present example. If you watched news like 5 days back. You’d see the detained Shah Rukh Khan speaking about it in a press release. It here = him being detained at an American airport and then the things which happened with him. Now at the same time there was an issue of draught in the whole fucking country, like 50% of the country is in defict of rainfall already. But that wasn’t the headlines. :|

So 50% of the India is less important than a single guy who has done 70 films?

And even if you make it the headlines about SRK and shit, for the love of Google just stop with making animated sketches of him and the people who detained him and showing that as a slide on your stupid Hindi news channel? What the fuck is wrong with us/you?

The media says they show what the people want to see. Question of the day: Do people really want to see how one man was detained or do they want to see how they are going to suffer because of less rainfall?

I doubt the people living in this country are that dumb, I mean we are dumb but we aren’t that dumb right? :P

I mean we are selfish right? How is that guy getting detained gonna affect us? After 9/11 we all know what America does, why it does it and that it is not gonna stop.

Also, you probably have heard of this but with great power comes great responsibility. We all know the media can take the government down if they really want to, but they won’t. Setting hai boss =P

But here it is, straight out:  I understand 26/11 was their first time with hands on action and live terrorism but dude, come on think about it if you show every movement of what the NSG and the police and the other forces on national television you are just being stupid.

I mean sure censorship sucks but you are putting people’s life at risk there. :|

Also the people who read the fucking news (not the people the newsreaders :@), EXCUSE ME DUDE COME ON SHOW A LITTLE EXPRESSION ON YOUR FUCKED UP FACE. I MEAN YOU LOOK PATHETIC YOU LITTLE SLUT WITH YOUR FUCKING MAKEUP AND YOUR BIG GLASSES AND YOUR OILY HAIR BUT COME ON TRY OKAY? TRRRRY!
